Motorcycle Repair: bendix carb issues, air fuel mixture, air jet

i have a bendix carb with a dual adjusting set up. 1 for air and 1 for gas. i just got and redid a rebuild kit and found out i was missing some parts in my carb that werent there when i bought it new. my question is where should the main jet be and where should i set the air jet?? all im getting is black smoke, flames, and rough rev when i crack the throttle. can you help????????????????

Your starting point for the main is 1 1/2 turns the starting point for the air/fuel mixture is 2 turns. Once the bike starts turn the air/fuel mixture inward until the bike starts to stumble and then back 1/4 of a turn
