I am working on getting  the qa50 running, where can I find parts?

Casey... hard to find parts for these little playtoys now, after 25 years. Plus they came in all kinds of colors, so body work is a challenge, too. I did a GOOGLE search on
HONDA QA50 PARTS FOR SALE and came up with:

If cost is no object, you can go overseas and check www.davidsilverspares.com and www.cmsnl.com sites. In the US, try www.westernhillshonda.net site for online ordering. Best to get a parts manual from Ebay or similar sources, plus shop manual copies.
