Motorcycle Repair: 1972 CB350F Master Cylinder, cb350f, bill silver

Question
I was reading other posts about sticking brakes where you refer to a "bleed port" in the master cylinder.  My CB350F master cylinder doesn't seem to have a hole there.  There is what looks like two bores in the bottom, the one closest to the line doesn't appear to go through.  It looks conical on the bottom like the drill never penetrated.  Is this something special on the 350F, or is mine defective?

Answer
Contact me through my website:www.vintagehonda.com and I can email a jpg of Honda's SL110 bulletin that shows a cross-section illustration of the bleed port in question.

Well, the master cylinders I have seen all have to second port bored through. The hole is VERY small... maybe .010-015", so can be easily plugged with dirt or old brake fluid residue. If the hole is really not bored through, then either make your own or buy another mastercylinder body.
