Motorcycle Repair: Kawaski 1500, amp fuse, horn button

I have a 1997 Vulcan 1500.  The + battery terminal shorted and destroyed the battery.  Everything works OK now except the horn. Horn no go.  No voltage is getting to the horn. ??? help.

should be about a 10 amp fuse on the horn
circuit. Check that fuse for power, then that wire goes
to the horn. Check for power at the horn.The other wire goes from the horn to the horn button. I think the wires are both black in color until they get near
the button, then the positive wire becomes
black/white and the other black/yellow.
If you get power to the horn, it may work,
otherwise you will have to see if the button
wiring is okay.
