Motorcycle Repair: 1981 Honda CX500C Idle, leaky valve, new spark

This bike was recently taken apart to fix a leaky valve in the back of the engine. Before this, it idled perfectly.\
Now, if I let it, it will stall. I am not sure how to adjust the idle.

I believe the idle is set from underneath
and between the carbs. Should be a little
star-like wheel to turn in or out.
Have you tried new spark plugs and/or
new gas? The gas can get stale very quickly
if it was sitting. Also carb jets could get
plugged. Make sure battery is charged fully.
