Motorcycle Repair: clarion type II radio, backup settings, lithium battery

The presets and clock won't keep after I turn the ignition off,I checked the main fuses and they are OK. Can you direct me how to fix or at least look for the problem?

I can only suggest having a "radio" man look at it
as they were hard to get info on even many years ago.
If the clock comes on, then it must be getting
power, whatever "chip" saves the settings
must be faulty. Some devices have a small lithium
battery to backup settings, but you would
have to disassemble the radio to see.
