Motorcycle Repair: Honda CL 350 Clutch Assembly, honda cl350, scrambler 350

Question
Hello, When this bike is running, the clutch doesn't seem to work at all. I've tried to tighten the cable and that does not have any affect on it. I took off the sprocket cover and noticed that there are parts of what looks like a bushing. I am going to try to clean the assembly on this side and grease the actuator. Is there suppose to be a bushing that houses the ball bearing and connects to the shaft that pushes against the clutch?

Answer
Hi,
yes, the ball usually sits in the cam/lever assembly
that pushes on the clutch pushrod.
Loosen the cable adjusters all the way before you adjust
the bottom cam/lever. Here is a diagram:

Also, if the bike has been parked awhile the clutch plates
can stick together.
