Motorcycle Repair: 1973 honda cl125 not gettin any spark, shively, multimeter

hi my name is matthew. me and my dad are working on a 1973 honda cl125 which he hasnt used for a while and we would like to get it running again, but we cant get any spark when we kick it over. we have ordered a troubleshooting manual that has yet to come in. do you have any specs for troubleshooting the condenser, coil, etc. with a multimeter?
