Motorcycle Repair: pushrod, pushrod, locknut

Question
I'm running solids on a 76 shovel. Could you just go over the process for adjusting the pushrods because their starting to rap and i've forgotten what I need to do.

Starting with the front pushrod, rotate the motor untilt he pushrod is all the way down. loosen the locknut and turn the pushrod until you can just turnt he pushrod between your fingers and tighten the locknut. Do this for each one.
