Motorcycle Repair: Starting click click, battery check, fxdwg

Question
I have a 96 FXDWG w/ 22K miles.  In the 1st start up attempt after winter, it
turned over a few times then just "click, click, click".  Battery check proved
fine and it has been recharged but trying to start always results in the same, a
second or two of turnover then the click.  THEN, while getting off the bike, I
burned my hand from heat where the cluck cable touches the left hanger bar.
No where else was it hot except there.  Any ideas, suggestions, advice?

Answer
Check to make sure you have water in the battery. Also, even though you hve voltage in the battery, it might not have any cranking amps, so you need to get it tested.
As to the cable getting hot, I have never heard of this and not sure what it is.
Good luck and happy riding
