Motorcycle Repair: Honda CB-1 Help, honda cb 1, fork seals

Hi

I have just replaced the fork seals on my Honda but am unsure how much oil to put in. I put 400ml in either side as the one took that much out, could you perhaps tell me how much oil i need to put in each fork.

I am also about to change the oil and filter and again am unsure how much oil that takes

Could you perhaps help.

Hi marc,
        I can help but i suggest on buying a service manual and a fork fluid gauge to help you.400ml's in the fork is close, i would start there and with your fork fluid gauge and the service manual you can see exacty where you are at.As for the oil in the motor i am not exactly sure.I f there is not a sight window or dip stick i would refer to the manual.Glad i could help
