Motorcycle Repair: 84 yamaha yfm 200, yamaha yfm 200, starter solenoid

i have bought a yfm 200 it can be pull started fairly easy but has a tendincy to run for 2-3 sec and make a pop and stall when cold do this 5-6 times and it eventually runs.also when i got it the electric start did not work  as the starter was broke,i had it rebuilt and installed it.now the bike will turn over but not fire at all,but like i said you can hand crank and it goes. i bought the proper battery,checked all wiring connections and cleaned them,checked the neutral switch and the light works indicating if the bike is in gear or not and you can hand start it in gear.and the only other thing is the spark is the same hand or electric starting. i have tried hotter colder and normal plugs all gapped correctly. the timing is not adjustable in any way strictly electric timing. could you just post your answer as i am not sure my email will accept it. thanks in advance

        i will ahve to get back to you.I work with a guy who is a yfm200 guru and i tihnk that he will know exactly what the problem is.I think that if it doesnt turn over at all when the starter button is pushed and the starter is new i would check the starter solenoid but i will let you know def.glad i could help
