QUESTION: the baterry on my bike died so I bought a new one , but now the bike wont start any ideas what could be going on ?

Will it turn over and not fire or will it do noting when the button is applied?If the bike will turn over and not start check for spark.If it will do nothing i would look at the starter solenoid.Disconnect the battery and then take off the solenoid there is sometimes a fuse in the back of them that will blow if the fuse is good and the solenoid just clicks time for a new soleniod also.Give me some more info so that have a better understanding of what is going on....glad i can help....dan

        So it sounds like the battery is dying but it is a new battery and it wont start.Sounds like it is time for a new starter.Did your old battery die from you trying to start it and it wouldnt fire , or you walked out of your house and it was dead?But if it is anew battery and it was charged prior to be put in then i think that it should fire unless there is something else that i am missing ...unless you need a starter...let me know.....dan
