Motorcycle Repair: Passing Lamps - Electrical Issue?, harley road king, test light

My passing lamps won't light.  I just replaced one a few months ago, and have no idea what the problem might be.  I have a 2003 Harley Road King Classic.  I haven't ridden much lately; could it be the battery is too low?  The bike does start.  what should I be looking at?

With a test light, check the switch to see if you have power going to the lamps as well as power going to the switch. If you dont have power going to the switch then you will have to follow the wire back to the source to find the break in power.
