Motorcycle Repair: 1998 XLH Sportster, xlh sportster, clutch cable

My clutch cable needs to be adjusted...get'n a good bit of freeplay in it...how do I go about this? Thanks in advance!

Follow the cable from the brake lever and you will se a rubber boot. Slide it out of the way and you will see the adjuster. Loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster until you have about 1/8 inch play in the brake lever. Tighten the locknut and slide the boot back in place and your good to go.
