Motorcycle Repair: throttle cable adjustment, locknut, rubber boot

I have a 2005 Road Glide(FLTRI). I have excessive play in the throttle. I would like to adjust it.

Answer
Follow the cable from the handle and you will find the adjuster. It should be covered by a rubber boot. Slide the boot out of the way and you will see a locknut. Loosen the locknut and turn the adjuster to make the cable longer to take the slack out. Re-tighten the locknut and slide the ruber boot back and your good to go.
