Motorcycle Repair: fuse keeps blowing out, kawasaki ninja, gas tank

Question
i have a 95 kawasaki ninja. my head lamp fuse blew out so i changed it, then it blew again! I've changed it three times and it blows out within five minutes. do you know why?

I'm just a Harley mechanic but instead of just blowing you off I suggest you look for a chafed hot wire to your headlight or a poor ground connection to your headlight.  Either condition could cause the fuse to blow.  Check the harness at the frame neck in front of the gas tank.  That's the most common place where the hot wires wear out or chafe from turning the handlebars back and forth.  Or look on the expert site at the qualifications for a Kaw. mechanic.  And make sure you have a good clean ground connection and a fully charged battery.
