how do i test for a spark

Hi Shay, First, make sure you are getting spark, then make sure you are getting fuel, and last, make sure you have compression.

Hi Shay, Take out one(or how many plugs you have),leave them connected to the plug wires, but have them grounded(resting on the engine).Turn over the motor and check the plugs to see if they spark, you should have a strong blue spark. If not, then replace the plug(s), with a new one(s) of the proper heat range.
