Motorcycle Repair: 65 ben. cruiser, oem honda parts, honda engines

Question
Bill, my 2 cylinder 165cc has an extreme amount of oil blowing   out of the rh exaust port. The motor has 65lb.s compression on both cylinders I'm wondering if it's cost effective to replace just valve guides, or do just a valve job, ect.what do you think. I also need a manual.  Thankyou R.d.l.

Answer
Rollin....  best study up on the theory of 4 cycle engines.
Engine compression should be around 150-175 psi in standard condition. While your valves and guides could be worn a lot, that isn't a usual problem with Honda engines, unless you drive with no air cleaner in place. The oil blowing out the exhaust and probably the breather is no doubt coming from seized/worn pistons/rings.
The CA160 engine is similar to all the other models, but for the single carb cylinder head. Manuals for this engine, also related to the 175s can often be found on Ebay, along with parts books, that will show you the exploded views of the parts and the parts numbers. You may not get much from Honda, but there are a lot of parts floating around on Ebay or try contacting the www.vjmc.org site to connect with other enthusiasts.
Try to stay with OEM Honda parts, whenever possible.
