Motorcycle Repair: re-jet, jet size, xl1200

Hello Sean! I received a stage 1 re-jet kit for a sportster XL1200 as a gift. The problem is I own a 883, Can I install this kit on my bike without any negative effects or will it not work at all? Thanks for your help and have a great Xmas.

Merry Christmas Duncan, Yes you can,though depending on the air flow and exhaust system you have will determine the jet size.I've gone with the 170 main jet without any problems.So read the instructions carefully and enjoy the extra performance!If you have problems just ask, I have some little tricks that may also help.
