Motorcycle Repair: electrical, amp circuit breaker, amp fuse

what do i hook up the voltage regulator to.  straight to the battery or to 30 amp fuse then to what the pos. side of the battery

Answer
Voltage reg. hooks up to 30 amp circuit breaker that is hooked up to positive (+) side of the battery.  The copper-colored post on breaker goes to battery, and the silver colored post goes to regulator.  Make sure regulator has a good ground, either through its base or through a ground wire to a good ground.
