Motorcycle Repair: 86 dresser rear base gasket leaking, gasket, merry christmas

got a 86 flhtc in the rear base gasket is just starting to seep some oil. Should i fix it now or can i wait till it starts using oil?  I only have 69,000 on it..

The longer you wait the more it will leak. If it were me I would go ahead and fix it. While you are doing that, it would be a good idea to do both cylinders at the same time. You dont what to fix the rear only to have th front go out in a year
