Motorcycle Repair: 1984 honda 500 shadow, cam chains, service intervals

Hello: My qustion is on the cam chains, My bike runs fine with no mechanical problems. I have a factory service manual , but it gives no mention of any service adjustments. Is there an external adjustment ,that should be made with the routine service?  your help really appreciated   Parker Julian

Hi Parker.

 The factory service manual has everything (and more) about the bike, so if it isn't in there, then don't worry about it.

 Everything that needs to be serviced will be listed in the manual along with service intervals and specs.
