Hi Cody,

A:  Visit NGK's website and view the spark plug images under the "Plug Problems" menu. Compare the appearance of your plug to NGK's plug images. Depending upon how your plug apprears, the carburetor may need tuned richer or leaner to correct the air-fuel mixtures.

If the jetting is correct, the ignition system may be defective or cylinder compression may be out of service limits. Also, the fuel system may be varnished and needs thoroughly cleaned to restore proper performance.

If the engine is lugged or used often out of the power band, fouling may occur.

Fouling may be a result of gasoline additives, improper use of the choke, or improper starting techniques.

You or someone else will have to try and diagnose the symptoms. I cannot do it with the limited information provided.

I think the problem will be a simple fix.
