Motorcycle Repair: 1988 FXR Cv carb install, fxr, intake manifold

Question
I want to put a CV carb on my 1988 FXR. What will I need to do this? I know I need an intake manifold, but will it match up to my intakes on the heads?

Answer
It should match up, but you will need a air filter backing plate and air filter also. You might have to change the throttle and idle cable too. Once you have it installed you will probably have to rejet the carb for your bike
