Motorcycle Repair: Cr125 1988model, shively, repair manual

I have a cr125 (88) and it will not take off in 1st gear unless I rip the crap out of it can you help with this problem. Also it keeps get hot but its not the water pump already checked that.

Hi Mason,

I suspect the clutch needs attention. Disassemble the clutch and inspect for wear and defects.

Primary causes of cooling system overheating are air in the system and incorrect coolant ratio.

Get a copy of the repair manual and learn about troubleshooting and reapiring your CR.
