Motorcycle Repair: 70s something Yamaha 250 Enduro, sitting on the bench, magnito

Question
I have no spark coming out of the coil. I have 3 coils sitting on the bench and I believe they are all good. the bike has no battery. I have power coming out of the magnito when I kick it over as long as I don't hook it to the coil. If I take the coil off the frame and break the ground it stays hot at the coil, but still nothing to the plug. The bike has been sitting for 6 7 months but ran great when I parked it.
