Motorcycle Repair: CAM CHAIN REMOVAL, honda dream, restoration guides

Question
I HAVE A 1965 HONDA DREAM 305 I HAVE THE MOTOR TORN DOWN HOW DO YOU GET THE CAM CHAIN OFF INSIDE THE MOTOR HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME...

Answer
If you have the motor torn down, how did you do it with the camchain in place? It is connected with a master link, so it separates. If you drop it down inside the motor, just turn the engine over and remove the oil pump from the bottom, that will give you decent access to the bottom end.
I have written complete restoration guides on your bike.

If you are talking about the PRIMARY chain, under the left side engine cover, then you need to pry off the lock washer tab, take a dull chisel and a big hammer to the crankshaft nut and turn it off, counter clockwise. That will allow you to remove the chain, clutch and the rest of the parts for the left side of the motor.
