Motorcycle Repair: straight pipes with thomder monster baffleas in header pipe, thunder monster baffles, straight pipes

I AM INSTALLING THUNDER MONSTER BAFFLES IN THE HEADER PIPE RIGHT BEFORE THE MUFFLER CONNECTION.  CAN I REPLACE MY MUFFLERS WITH STRAIGHT PIPES AND WHAT WILL BE THE RESULT?

Answer
You can replace the mufflers with straight pipes. With straight or drag pipes you will loose some low end and mid range performance. Straight pipes are made for high RPMs. You will also lean the bike out so you would have to rejett.
