Motorcycle Repair: Flat battery, dragstar 650, electrosport

Hi Mark, hope you can help, I've got a dragstar 650, since fitting a set of passing lights, the battery goes flat on a long run, I've been told that I need to get the charging circuit tweaked up a volt or two, I'm an electrician, is this something I can do? Can you give me any pointers

Hi Mick,

I've had several complaints about the charing system on Star Series motorcycles being inadequate for auxillary lighting.

Visit Electro Sports website to check on quality alternators. "www.electrosport.com" Electro Sport manufactures close tolerance parts. Much finer than OEM parts.

Get out the VOM and visit these Star links.
