Motorcycle Repair: peugeot speedfigt 2 no fuel in float chamber, float chamber, fuel flows

Hi,speedfight 50cc,bike starts runs fine for about 400 yds then stops no fuel in the float chamber,will restart but does the same again. fuel tap seems ok have taken the fuel pipe off the carb,turned bike over fuel flows fine,have cleaned the carb. please help a desperate mom who knows nothing about bikes,and a lad with his first bike that he cant use. thank you

it sounds like bad float that soaks up fuel then closes off fuel supply will not float to reciev fuel change out float, because when u turn it over fuel goes in carb then back upright it use what you have then float sinks again causing fuel supply to stop. good luck if you need more help im here ok.
