Motorcycle Repair: Honda Shadow Stator, honda shadow spirit, stator

Question
I have a 1999 Honda Shadow Spirit. For a long time I have issues with the charge of the battery. After I replaced the battery and that didn't fix it I was told to replace the stator which I did. The problem never really went away. If I don't start my bike for a couple of days, the battery needs a charge. I think it may be that the stator isn't charging enough. Is there a replacement stator that is more powerful then the original?

thanks for choosing me to answer your question, first i would chk. the rectifier .its usually on thr sidw of the bike righr under the side cover i had a show in my shop this week ,with the same problem changed the rectifier . it was good to go. p.s if yiu need more info im here o,k
