Motorcycle Repair: harley solo seat, solo seat, sportster

hi mike,
       how do i remove the solo seat on my 2005 sportster,? i see the obvious bolt to remove but i'm a little lost after that. also how do i remove the battery?

Answer
Remove the bolt and the seat will slide up and out. When you put it back on you will be a clip inthe front.
Remove the top cover strap and the top cover. Slide the battery out a little and remove the cable bolts and slide the battery out
