Battery doesnt seem to be charging, with my meter testing battery at 12.3 not running and 12.6 with bike running.  Does it sound like a rectifier/regulator, and it it possible to check those for failure...

Hi Shawn,

You've performed an ouput test of the charging system. Now, check individual charging system components and verify the integrity of those parts.

The problem may be a defective regulator/rectifier. Dunno, you'll have to test it to know.

Get a copy of the service (repair) manual and learn about testing procedures and specifications.
