Motorcycle Repair: First time HD owner at age 55...? about oil change, ford 8n tractor, oil tank

I bought a 2002 883 sportster last year...don't want to sound dumb but how do you change the oil ? How often ? i bought it off ebay and dont have any manuals. I have a ford 8N tractor and I go to that forum for all repairs the knowledge and experience is unbelievable and was hoping this is a HD firum like that one. Thanks

Start the bike and let the motor warm up. Once its warm shut it off and under the oil tank you will see a hose for the drain. Drain the oil and replace the filter. Refill the oil tank and fill using the dipstick check the level witht he bike sitting upright. Start the bike to make sure you have oil pressure and recheck the dipstick and your good to go.
