Motorcycle Repair: vstar 1100 exhaust popping, dg hardkrome, hyper charger

I have a 06 vstar 1100 classic. I just recently had some dg hardkrome pipes and a hyper charger installed with a stage 1 jet kit that came with the hyper charger. I get a lot of popping on deceleration. I have also disconnected my ais which some people online have said solved their problem. It may have helped a little but not much. do you think there is anything else I can do to solve this?
the mechanic that put them on said its just the characteristics of the pipes, but others on forums have said they dont have this problem.

First of all how do they perform on acceleration?  If u r not getting popping (lean) or if the bike doesn't fall on it's face (rich) then your deceleration is a characteristic of the pipes.  In other words, if your bike will still shit and get who really cares about popping on decel?
