Motorcycle Repair: oil over flow catch can, yamaha 850, overflow

Question
I bought a 1980 yamaha 850 special last week and the guy just had the over flow dumping behind the tranny.Is there a stock catch can, or do I need to costom build one.

I'm assuming u r talking about carb overflow lines.  These should b long enough 2 go through your frame and point at the ground.  That should b effecient as there shouldn't b any overflow anyway.  Overflow is caused by worn out carbs or a stuck float.
