Motorcycle Repair: 1971 CB175 exhaust, honda cb175, cylinder bikes

I have a 1971 Honda CB175 needing new exhaust and was wondering if the exhaust system from a CB175k3 would work with my bike? The model number on my mufflers is HM306, HM315 and I have found some k3 exhaust with muffler number HM302.  Will the k3 exhaust still bolt up to my '71?  Thank you.

Dustin, the exhaust systems are pretty much all interchangeable for all of the vertical cylinder bikes from 1969 onwards. I heard recently from someone who put CB200T mufflers on his CB175 bike, as well. You should be fine in swapping the exhaust to your bike. Usually the change in product code is for an appearance change and sometimes for an internal baffling change that may or may not affect your jetting.
