What kind of oil is best for a 1998 Evo Bagger motor, primary and tranny?

If you want to stick with oil then 20W50 for motor oil, and semi-synthic oil for the primary and trans. That is what was recommended for the EVO motor. As long as the motor oil has the SAE lable you can use it. On the trans and primary make sure you use oil that is made for eash.
You can go total synthic for all three. Just make sure it is made for all three. Amsol makes a great oil for all three
