Motorcycle Repair: twin cam stator, meter check, check voltage

My 2002 dyna is putting out 12.30 volts while running. The battey shows 12.56 volts not running.I replaced the regulator. I think it must be the stator. How do i check the stator ? thanks  .

Witha OHMs meter check for ground at the pins and pin to ground. If that passes start the bike and with a AC volt meter check voltage. At 2000 you should get around 60 volts. If not then the stator is bad. If the stator passes then the regulator is bad
