when you put the key in ignition van will not start.but everything else works. how do you reset the sercuity code?

I don't have experience or manual for '08, but if you mean that the starter motor won't operate then that is typically for Chrysler not a security issue but rather a starter motor circuit issue. Are you sure you are in park or neutral? Try shifting slightly off the detent position in case of an adjustment problem with that. Does the starter relay in the box under the hood click when a helper tries
starter?
If the starter works, but the engine won't catch, that could be the security circuit. Try lock/unlock with the key in the passenger-side door.
