Motorcycle Repair: carb settings on a 1981 xr80, fuel needle, carb settings

well first i will say i know i know i should go and spend the few bux on the shop manual for my bike but really i dont see the point i have got everything covered other then 1 simple but fairly important thing and that thing is i dont know how to properly set the high speed needle or the air fuel needle i think it might b called well anyways i would greatly   appreciate it if you could help me out on this subject well thanx for your time and i look forward to hearing a solution 2 my little problem  thanx again john

You know what you need to get. lol... It's all in there.

I have no idea what you're trying to tune. There's no information describing the problems with the RM.

Remove the throttle slide and raise of lower the "Jet Needle" to adjust rich or lean accordingly. Raising the needle richens the mix.
