Motorcycle Repair: Handlebars, roadking custom, heigth

Question
A buddy just ordered a new Roadking Classic but wants to install the beachcomber bars thats on the Roadking Custom. The dealer listed numerous kits, cables, and wireharnesses, and labor totaling 1450 dollars. One of my other Harley friends said he thought the switch could be made with little or no changes to the original hardware. You've helped a couple of times in the past and wondered if you can steer me straight on this item. I realize it's not repair and thank you in advance.

Answer
Its all going to depend on the width and heigth of the bars. What you can do is do some measuring and then measure the cables to see if they are going to reach. Same thing with the wires. That is about hte only way you are going to be able to tell without spending all that money
Good luck and happy riding
