Motorcycle Repair: 75 Ironhead pouring oil out rocker, gasket kit, box hole

i had the cork gaskets in.  i also mae sure they were seated and no grit or pieces of old gasket were there

Question -
I recently put rings and a top end gasket kit on a 75 sporty.  When I start it, it pours oil out of the rocker box hole where the pushrod goes into the rocker. It just doesn't leak, it pours.  I have no idea why?  I pulled the heads and jugs and checked for blockage in the drain holes and there was none.  ANy help is greatly appreciated. Thanks !

Did you forget the gasket at the top of the pushrod cover?

Your heads drain through the pushrod covers also, so that is why oil is coming through them. Recheck your covers and make sure there is not dirt and they are seated correctly. Make sure you slide the upper tube up all the way.
