Motorcycle Repair: 1200 harley, dip stick, oil tank

I need to know the amount of oil to put in my 1200. thanks

You never said what year you bike is, but there should be a dip stick on the plug. there are two marks on the stick. Keep the oil inbetween the marks. If you dont have a dip stick then fill the oil tank, whith the bike stanking upright, to about 2" of the neck
