im having problems hooking up line from gas tank to carbs . could you please send me a diagram of the hoses and where they go

You may find the diagram in one of the repair manuals.

Or, you can try describing the problem you're experiencing more thoroughly. FYI, carburetors (and cylinders) are numbered from left to right when seated on the motorcycle: 1-2-3-4.
