Motorcycle Repair: Stock 69 Flatside Shovel Rebuild, valve stem seals, roller rockers

Question
It runs fare, but it's time. Rather than just keeping it stock, I'd like to bump up the cubes a little. I'm thinking 84 so the cases, cylinders and heads stay stock. They're all in perfect shape and no leaks, but I'm at 60 over on the bore, so I'll probably get new jugs. Additionally, I'm considering  a mild cam, and going to roller rockers (Jims) and evo style lifter/tappet set (also Jims), as well as a better oil pump and a modern distributor. I'm currently running an S&S Super E carburetor. What are your thoughts/recommendations...stroker flywheels/rods? pistons? head work? breather work? oil pump? Valves? Guides? Valve stem seals or no seals? head and base gaskets? case-to-case sealant?

Answer
First you dont have to go to the expence of getting new jugs. They can be religned. I do this all the time and its cheaper than buying new jugs.
If it were me I would stroke it and add bigger pistions. If youa re going to stroke it then you need more than a mild cam. I would go with a Andrews B cam. As long as the oil pump pumps well why change it. All your other parts needs to be miced and checked to see if it needs to be replaced or not. I would use valve guide seals if it were me. I always use sealeant on the cases.
I would be glad to give you aprice on the work if interested. You can reach me on my cell at 740-360-9903
Good luck and happy riding
