What steps do I do to take off the stock exhaust pipes on my Honda VTX 1300C.

I recommend that you get a copy of the Serive Manual. I don't have time to text the lengthy procedures.

The manual has illustrated procedures for removing the exhaust system, and more.

The manual is the best investment you'll spend on your VTX and it will pay for itself with the first service you perform.

You get what you pay for, buy the Honda service manual. Other brands seem to lack clarity or intel.
