Motorcycle Repair: FLHR front end tracking problem, wheel bearings, fork tubes

Question
Hey,  I picked up a 1999 Rubber Mounted Road King that had been laid down on one side. When the bike gets up over 60 or 65mph it the front end will jump around a little bit. The bike will move a foot in either direction when this occurs. If I lean over or follow a ridge in the road the problem will diminish.  One of the fork tubes was slightly bent so I changed both.  I replaced the wheel bearings both wheels and in the steering head but the problem is still there,  Ideas?

Answer
First thing to do is check the front tire for abnormal wear. If the tire is worn you can have this problem. Also, check the wheel bearings. You never said how fast the bike was going when it went over, but you might have  bent frame
Good luck and happy riding
