Motorcycle Repair: Carb jetting, flstc, hsr

Question
I have 1990 FLSTC with a HSR 42 carb. I just had it dyno tuned and rejetted. I took a 1000 mile run and the bike sputters at midrange (60-75 Mph). Sorry, no tach. It is good coming up to speed and is good if I roll it on. But, sputters in this mid/cruising range.
I am at sea level and have never before had this problem. I am very unhappy with the dealer as they will not honor their mistake. Can you give me and idea on what I may need to change on the jetting? My work order says they changed the main jet from a 147.5 to a 170.0
I was previously jetted for an altitude of 5000 feet.

Answer
I would think they would redo it and make it right. I know I would, but that is just me!
First thing you need to do is pull the plugs and check them. If they are real white then you are running lean. If they are real black then you are running rich. After you do that you will know which way to go with the jets. How did it run befor you had them change the jets?
